Who we are

Founio is a product of Vexol, based in the Netherlands. Vexol is the controller for the personal data described in this policy. You can reach us at support@vexol.eu.

Information We Collect

Account information

Your name, email address and login details when you create an account.

Store data

When you connect your Shopify store, Founio reads your store data with read-only access: orders, products, collections, customers, sales and costs.

Connected accounts

When you connect Google, Microsoft 365, Telegram or your own tools through MCP, Founio processes the mail, calendar and message data needed for the features you use.

Content you create

Questions you ask the AI assistant, drafts, tasks, notes and the images and videos you create in UGC Studio.

Payment information

Payments are handled by Stripe. We receive your billing details and payment status, but not your full card number.

Usage and device data

Your IP address, browser, device type and how you use the website and the app.

How We Use Your Information

To provide Founio

We use your data to run your workspace, show your store data, power the AI assistant and AI agents, and process your plan and payments. This is necessary to perform our agreement with you, which you accept by creating an account and using Founio.

Security and improvement

We use usage data to keep Founio secure, fix problems and improve the product, based on our legitimate interest in running a reliable service.

Communication

We send you service messages about your account and billing. We only send marketing emails if you allow it, and you can unsubscribe at any time.

Legal obligations

We keep billing records and respond to lawful requests where the law requires it.

Your Store's Customer Data

Your Shopify store contains personal data of your own customers. For that data, you are the controller and Vexol processes it on your behalf, only to provide Founio to you. You are responsible for informing your customers about how their data is used.

AI Processing

To answer your questions and run AI agents, the relevant parts of your workspace and your instructions are sent to AI models through OpenRouter, which routes requests to the model providers it works with. UGC Studio sends your prompts and media to the video and image models you choose, such as Seedance, Kling and MiniMax. AI agents prepare actions, and nothing is sent to your customers or published without your approval.

Sharing Your Data

We share data only with the service providers we need to run Founio:

  • Stripe, for payments;

  • OpenRouter and the AI model providers it routes to, for AI features;

  • Shopify, Google, Microsoft and Telegram, when you connect them;

  • the hosting and database providers that store Founio's data;

  • Framer, which hosts the founio.com website.

We may also share data when the law requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of Vexol and our users.

Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored in databases managed by Vexol. Every account is fully separated, API keys are stored encrypted (AES-256) and never shown again, and AI agents run in their own isolated environment. No system is completely secure, but we take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data.

International Data Transfers

Some of our service providers, such as Stripe and OpenRouter and the model providers it routes to, may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where that happens, the transfer relies on the safeguards required by the GDPR, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

Data Retention

We keep your data for as long as your account exists. When you delete your account or ask us to delete your data, we remove it, except for billing records, which Dutch tax law requires us to keep for seven years.

Your Data Rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, export and delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can export or delete your data from your account at any time, or contact us at support@vexol.eu. You also have the right to file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

Cookies

The founio.com website uses cookies and similar technologies to work properly and to understand how visitors use it. You can manage cookies in your browser settings.

Children's Privacy

Founio is a business tool and is not intended for anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

Policy Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy when Founio or the law changes. We will post the new version on this page with a new date, and notify you of important changes.
